NASCAR Weekend Coming

The Lenox Industrial Tools 301 is set to take place this weekend in Loudon at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
This Sunday, a $5,383,710 purse will be up for grabs along with points for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings. The winner last year was Denny Hamlin Fedex Chevy car. He led the race for 46 of the then 300 laps in the Lenox Tools sponsored event. This year the race will have 301 laps adding up to at total distance of 318.458 miles.
Over the last two years, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Havick, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, and Kyle Busch have faired the best.
The course has 91,0000 permanent seats and all 26 NASCAR Cup races have been sold out. This is the 17th of 36 races for the Sprint Cup Series. Currently Kyle Busch leads the series with 2408 Sprint Cup Points, 103 over second place Jeff Burton. The worry? Burton is the most successful racer on the track with four wins. The race will be televised on TNT starting at 2:00 PM Sunday.
