At the Crosby, Stills, and Nash concert on July 23rd, patrons will be able to take part in “Greenerpalooza.” The sideshow is being put together by several NH businesses, state agencies, and public utility companies to teach fans about how they can reduce their energy consumption and environmental impact as well as save money. An eco-village will be set up at the concert for fans to wander through where they can receive information and speak with energy experts.

"Finding new ways to save money while preserving our environment is of interest to all New Hampshire citizens," said Roy Duddy, director of the NH Business Resource Center. "For the first time, we're joining together with local utilities and New Hampshire companies creating energy efficient products to present an evening dedicated to exploring the benefits of going green. Whether it's biodiesel, solar or geothermal, it'll all be on display at Greenerpalooza."

Meadowbrook offers visiting musicians that option of using biodiesel generators to power their shows. Tour Buses can also refuel with biodiesel from onsite fuel pumps. Meadowbrook is also attempting to set up a system called the Fan Carbon Offset Program to reduce the emissions from fans traveling to the venue.

Participants will include Ocean Bank, PSNH, NH DES, NH DOT, Ultra Geothermal, The Red Blazer, The Common Man restaurants, Snow Dragon Renewable Energy, and Lakes Region Community College’s Energy Services & Technology Program, among others.

Tickets are available at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion website:
